started career from the English Daily "The Muslim" Islamabad from 1979 to 1983 and switched over to "DAWN" as special correspondent based at Faisalabad from 1983 to date. (Litigation is going on with the Dawn Management over the enforcement of various legitimate rights, wages, fringe benefits, promotion etc. since July 2006 to date).
being a journalist and having vast experience in the field of journalism know as a true professional and dedicated person always contributed positively in the profession and faced a number of atrocities during the Marshal Law Regimes and remained in Jail in 1977, 1978, 1979, 1981, and 1983 beside being implicating in the various false criminal cases including an alleged case of murder.
